Wales Spring Fair 2013
This year Venue Cymru staff turned their hands to the organising of internal events. More usually found offering support to other people's events - this presented a new challenge for staff. The challenge was met enthusiastically and resulted in a highly succesful event which will hopefully continue to grow and flourish under Venue Cymru management for many years to come.
Pa mor Wyrdd yw Eich Digwyddiad
Mae pawb yn ymwybodol o’r angen i fod yn gynaliadwy ond gallwch wneud mwy nag ailgylchu ychydig o gwpanau papur wrth gynllunio eich digwyddiad nesaf. Cynnal Digwyddiadau Gwyrdd yw’r “broses o gynnwys penderfyniadau cyfrifol o safbwynt cymdeithasol ac amgylcheddol yn eich sefydliad, wrth weithredu a chymryd rhan mewn digwyddiad.” Mae digwyddiadau gwyrdd wedi datblygu’n duedd boblogaidd y mae'n rhaid i drefnwyr ei chroesawu - nid yn unig i ddiwallu digwyddiadau cynrychiolwyr ond i fodoli Safon Brydeinig 8901 sydd “wedi ei datblygu’n benodol ar gyfer y diwydiant digwyddiadau er mwyn helpu’r diwydiant i weithredu mewn ffordd fwy cynaliadwy.”
Confex 2013
Venue Cymru will be exhibiting, as part of Meet North Wales, at International Confex 2013. Taking place at London's ExCel from 19th - 21st March, International Confex is established as the UK’s leading exhibition for the events industry and will be hitting the big '30' at this year's show.
Conference and Events manager, Adrian laTrobe said: "Confex has always been an important date in the Venue Cymru calendar. The exhibition provides an excellent opportunity for staff to catch up with current and past clients as well as hopefully meet some new event organisers and spread the good word of Venue Cymru!"
